Monument chronology:
- In the Minutes of the Ordinary Session of the Alfeizerão Parish Council, dated December 6, 1939, it was decided to make an official letter to the Alcobaça City Council, informing that the Junta absolutely agreed with the construction of the bandstand in reinforced concrete in the square of Santo Amaro, on the site of the MADEIRA BANDROWIDE that used to exist (Book of Minutes of the Parish Council of Alfeizerão, henceforth LAJFA, Book n.º 11, 1926-1934, f. 30v).
- In an ordinary session of December 27 of the same year, the letter n.º 1688 of the Municipality of Alcobaça was read, by which a license is granted for the construction of the Bandstand, the works being under the supervision of the Board (idem, f. 31r).
- The payment of a subsidy to António dos Santos Brilhante to start the construction of the Bandstand was registered in an ordinary session of the Board of December 8, 1940 (Book of Minutes of the Administrative Commission of the Alfeizerão Parish Council, 1935-1941, f. 38r ).
- Payment of expenses for the completion of works on the Bandstand on June 15, 1942 and December 11, 1944 (LAJFA, 1942-1944, f. 4v and 19r).
- Decision of the Board to have the Bandstand and the Board's headquarters painted on December 15, 1948 (LAJFA, 1946-1950, f. 18r).
- Deliberation of the Board of January 12, 1954 authorizing the payment to Bernardo Rodrigues de Assunção for the works carried out to build the cover of the Bandstand at Largo de Santo Amaro (LAJFA, 1951-1957, f. 21v).
