SUA - Sport União Alfeizerense

The blue-and-white club was formed in different phases.
In the beginning, this club was associated with the Casa do Povo de Alfeizerão, and was managed in self-management by the players themselves. They initially played at Campo 28 de Maio (later known as Campo 1.º de Maio) and their makeshift bathhouse was a fountain in Praça Professor Joaquim André dos Santos.
Over time, the club got organized, having some support from the Alfeizerão Social and Parish Center during this period. The name of the club was definitively chosen, SUA - Sport União Alfeizerense, and it was legalized on June 13, 1979, with provisional headquarters at Largo Vasco da Gama. He fought in the 3rd District Division, then in the 2nd District Division and in the 1987-88 season he reached the 1st District Division, and with the victory in that Division (South Zone), he ascended to the national championship, being relegated to the 1989-90 season back to the 1st District Division, where they showed their “breed” in several games of remarkable performance that remained in everyone's memory.
In 1993, on October 5th, the inauguration of Campo de 5 Outubro (where SUA plays until today) was carried out by the president of the Camara de Alcobaça, at the time, Miguel Guerra.
